Setting up your child's Scanwell account

This guide provides instructions on how to set up your child’s Scanwell account if you:

  1. Do not have a Scanwell Account and need to register your child (first set of instructions); OR
  2. Already have a Scanwell account and need to register your child (second set of instructions).

Registering your child with Scanwell if you do NOT have a Scanwell account:
  1. Download the Scanwell App and select sign up to create your account using your email address and password:  
  2. Enter your (parent/guardian) information on the “Your Medical Profile” page:  
  3. Select “Research Use Only” on the home screen:  
  4. Select “Create a new profile”:  
  5. Enter your child’s information into the “Minor’s Medical Profile”:  
  6. Scan the QR code and begin following the testing instructions:  


Registering your child with Scanwell if you already have a Scanwell account:

  1. Login to your Scanwell account and select “Research Use Only” on the home screen:  

  2. Select “Create a new profile”:  

  3. Enter your child’s information into the “Minor’s Medical Profile”:  

  4. Scan the QR code and begin following the testing instructions:
