What does a negative BD Veritor™️ At-Home COVID-19* Test result mean?

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you should self-isolate from others per CDC COVID-19 guidance and contact a healthcare provider for medical advice about your symptoms.

If this was your first test: You must perform a second test with at least 24 hours and no more than 48 hours between tests. This is called serial testing.
If this was your second (serial) test in a row that is negative: You may stop testing. If you continue to be at risk of possible exposure to COVID-19, you may choose to continue serial testing at an interval of every 3-7 days.
A negative test result means that you are unlikely to have COVID-19. It is possible for this test to give a negative result that is incorrect (false negative) in some people with COVID-19, especially if you have symptoms or had close contact with a person with COVID-19. Please follow CDC COVID-19 guidance in case the test result is not correct.
If you have any additional questions, please speak with a healthcare provider. We are unable to provide medical advice.
